In response to the current Covid-19 pandemic, Andy Small vice president of operations for VSG – the Americas discusses what we’re doing to help.

Andy explains how we recognized a need for personal protective equipment around the world and, more importantly, here locally and decided to use our manufacturing facility and technology to help. “An opportunity to convert one of our metal cutting lasers to cut plexiglass and plastics that would allow us to make face shields,” Small says. We use these machines to build lift products in our Madison, Indiana facility. We’re producing a number of face shields for local first responders and health organizations.
